Shinko 230's or 712's are a good value (230 is a higher performance tire). 100/90-19 front and 110 or 120/90-18 in back. The rim is sort of narrow for a 120, but the fit is okay.
BTW, there are a bazillon tire threads in the archives already. You can learn a lot by using the search feature.Ed

Not as cheap as the Shinkos (which I also use on my bikes), but not a bad price.

You have the same size rims on your bike that my GS650E has. I use Shinko 712 tires, size 100/90-19 up front and a 110/90-18 in the back.
I'm extremely pleased with them after over 3,000 miles. They are very grippy and lean over very well.sigpic

What was on it when I got it was a 120/90/18. But I guess that doesn't make that big of a differnce, now I am just trying to find a good place to get them mounted!
My 650E handles most excellently with a 100 up front and a 110 in back. No complaints at all.sigpic
