Shinko 230's or 712's are a good value (230 is a higher performance tire). 100/90-19 front and 110 or 120/90-18 in back. The rim is sort of narrow for a 120, but the fit is okay.
BTW, there are a bazillon tire threads in the archives already. You can learn a lot by using the search feature.Ed

Not as cheap as the Shinkos (which I also use on my bikes), but not a bad price.

You have the same size rims on your bike that my GS650E has. I use Shinko 712 tires, size 100/90-19 up front and a 110/90-18 in the back.
I'm extremely pleased with them after over 3,000 miles. They are very grippy and lean over very well.GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E

My 650E handles most excellently with a 100 up front and a 110 in back. No complaints at all.GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E
