Part fiche says tube for sure, though been running tubeless for the last 28 years. No problems. Then again I'm not that hard of rider either.

Stuff I've done to my bike 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

I've got tubeless tires on both my bikes, a '79 and a '82, and I've got tubes installed.
I once had a blow-out at 70mph on a Honda 450 with a passenger, I really thought that was it for me, I don't want to take any unecessary chances after that.
