new rear piston boots too small?

I ordered this rear piston set (69100-08821) for my 82 750E. The new boots are too small. Has anyone else encountered this?

The new one is on the left

did you order them correctly by part number or description?

the part number should be 69108-45000

I ordered the piston set, not just the boots.

Is the old one OEM? Sometimes the cheap copies swell up when they come into contact with oil / solvents etc.

Sorry about that. Yes, everything else fits.

Maybe, I was just comparing parts before I get started and these didn't look quite right. I guess the new ones will stretch around the lip, I have a go and update the post.

OK, thanks for the replies. I got the boots on, just did not think they would stretch that far. I'm redoing the entire braking system with my beautiful new Apex stainless lines from Rennsport. Wish me luck.

I had a bear of a time getting the new boots on my rear calipers. I put the boot onto the piston, the piston in the bore, push it in, but those boots would not stay in the groove on the caliper body. Can't remember how exactly I finally got them to stay, but I wrestled with them for something like 30 minutes. Next time I'm out in the garage, I should actually check to make sure they haven't worked their way back out...
