Anybody have two extra brake shims?
I removed the shim from each front caliper during rebuild time a while ago in the hopes that doing so would firm up the lever. Well, it didn't really and the pads are squealing which is something that the shim is supposed to stop. I have searched the garage high and low and those guys are gone. I was wondering if any one has a pair they don't need?NO PIC THANKS TO FOTO BUCKET FOR BEING RIDICULOUS

If you don't find any shims, you can get some "disk brake quiet" grease from your auto parts store and put a thin layer between the piston and back of the pad, as well as the edges of the pad, where it rests on the caliper.
