Gs1000 front master/bandit brakes

So, will the stock GS1000 front brake master work with the 1999 Bandit 1200 calipers? Will it provide enough volume?

If not what are my options, Bandit or one of the larger GS bikes of the 80's. I am hoping the stock 1000 will work as I like the round style reservoir.

It's a 5/8" piston if it's from a dual brake model... Checkout the bandit one. If it's the same then it will likely work...

Single brakes use a 14mm piston.

Have you considered the Tokico calipers from Kawasaki's that a lot of people on here are running?

I have bandit front end with the calipers already so I will be running those. The GS had the dual front so I will pull the master apart and measure. I do not have the Bandit master to measure.

It should be marked 5/8" on the underside. You should not take this as "wrote" (do your own testing etc) but I think there is a very good chance you will be fine...

Well I just looked and sure enough 5/8!
TIme to disassemble and get a list.
