    Tire mileage FWIW

We had a thread recently on tire mileage and through six sets of Continental Road Attacks, front and rear, they lasted 6500 miles on average. My last set of tires was a set of Michelin PR2 sport touring. The front was worn out at 6k miles and I replaced it with a Continental motion which now has 5,800 miles on it which still has about half the tread left. The remaining rear PR2 has 13,800 miles on it a looks to be good for at least another 1000 miles or so. This is on a 1200 Bandit.

Anyone have a mileage count for their tires before being worn out?

Hayabusa. Rear lasts about 3000, less as the fun quotient increases. LOL!

Three sets of Dunlop E3 on my Wing. Two of them went 22-23,000 miles, the third was replaced at 20,000, but only because I was headed out on one of my work assignments.

Two sets of Michelin Pilot GT on the Wing. Only about 15,000 on each of them, but I like them better. Unfortunately, they have been discontinued. Just put on another set of E3s.

Odometer is over 180,000, still going strong.
