    Sonic fork springs

I'm about to install some new Sonic springs in my 80 GS1100E forks, any of you GSRers done this yet? I about freaked when I saw how much shorter the Sonic springs were, so I called, and was told it was the norm lol. Just follow the instructions with the springs. Thought I would ask if anyone has done this swap yet and any thoughts you could share on yours.

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

Well anyways, I'm leaving the air valve on the forks and using them for spacers for the headlight mounts, if I don't I would have to make some spacers, so just leave them on and not use them, I plugged off the hole though.

If it wasn't for some cotton BT testing this morning I would sneak into the shop and install the springs lol.

            UpDate on my Sonic springs

Got the springs installed. They seem to be working great! Funny thing is the fork tube preload adjustment caps hardly have any tension on them. I followed the instructions to the word (using my correct measurements). I don't have a lot of preload on them and they work just fine.
