    '82 GS1100G front wheel size

Hey Kids...working the GS1100G over the winter, now down to bare frame. Noticed the front wheel spoke pattern is not the same as the rear. The rear looks correct. Front looks like one year or 2 older. It's 1.85-19. Is this correct, or should it be 2.15-19???

Thanks for the help...did a search, but could not find the answer. Service manual does not list it either.

The only wheel that I have noticed in detail from an 1100G was a 2.15x19.

The '81 and older shafties have the "snowflake" pattern, which can be seen in the pictures in my sig for my 850 or #2 son's 1000.

The '82 and newer shafties have the "double spoke" pattern, which can be seen in the pictures for my wife's 850L and #1 son's 650L.

      .
The GL model front is 1.85x19 but the G is 2.15x19. Tubeless too, which is nice.
