1982 GS450TX Brakes shoes don't fit Volar????

I have a set of brake shoes from Volar part number VBS606 that are too short to be installed in the brake drum. They said that I had the right part number and the only thing that could be wrong is that I have a brake drum from a different bike??? Are you guys aware of any other brake drums that will fit a GS 450 that would not be the exact same?

Dear Customer,

The part number* VBS606 is correct. The only reason that it may not fit is you have a different Drum than the Original Factory ones for the GS450.

GS450TXZ - Brake Shoe: 64400-11870

There appears to be a difference (mag wheel has different drum size than wire wheel)?

EBC Application guide shows:
GS450TXZ = 609 (180x28mm)
GS450TZ = 606 (160X30mm)

You need EBC 609.

EDIT: If Volar has a VBS609, that's probably what you need.
