    No-name shocks

How can these shocks be so cheap?

Are they missing something? They appear to include shocks and springs, hardware and the spring preload wrench. Am I missing something?

For shocks, yes, they are cheap. However, the reason that they cost as much as they do is because of all the decorations on the solid struts that make them look like they are "shocks".

They are better than nothing, but they don't yield very much, even when supporting those of us with "enhanced gravitational attraction".

You would be much better off to spend a bit more and get some proper suspension units.

I too came across these fancy looking shocks and I assume they're crap, but has anyone used them? I mean $100 is way less than $1500 for the ones they emulate. Are they really 15 times worse?

Funny, but as I'm looking at this picture, I can see the (RFY) sticker coming off on the right one.

I could see myself buying some Ohlins stickers and fooling 99% of the population out there.
