Master cylinders
I'm taking apart my master cylinders for what I hope is just a clean & inspect. If all looks good, will I be ok to re-use, or should I plan on replacement piston & cup sets?https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zH8w8Civs8ejBJWjdvYi1LNTg&resourcekey=0-hlJp0Yc4K_VN9g7Jyy4KQg&authuser=fussbucket_1%40msn.com&usp=drive_fs

Personally, I would replace the sets but that's just how I do things.Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

+1 with Cowboy. I just did a caliper/MC rebuild and gouged the piston in the caliper and the piston in the MC was totally nasty!
Here's some pics to look at...I have other pics in there but disregard those.
You'll feel much better knowing you replaced all the internal moving parts. I replaced the original front brake line with a braided line and the stopping power has improved dramatically!
Good luck!

my opinion shouldn't be taken as gospel or in any way that would lead you to believe otherwise (30Sep2021)

It wouldn't bother me to reuse the parts if they look good. Can't fault replacing them either. If money's tight, reuse. Don't attempt to reuse your old brake lines though.Ed
