Rebuilding Marzocchi shocks problem

Measurement of my one decent spring is approx.

Length 10mm
Outside Diameter 18mm
Inside Diameter 13mm

Have found a company that can provide the following

Length 19mm
Outside Diameter 19.8mm
Inside Diameter 15.6mm

They are not far off the diameters and can reduce the length, no idea on the spring rate, have ordered these and will let you know if they are any good

Recieved the spring and they were not really suitable - thought engine valve springs would be about the same size so went to a local engine builder and found that inner valve springs from a Hyabusa are the same diameter. Cut a couple down to the right length and seem ok, rebuild shock, have yet to test. I also found some old clutch springs from a YZF750 in the garage that would also work.

I'll be interested in your results. I still haven't gotten around to painting mine and putting them back together. I threw my Hagons on the bike and am really enjoying the softer ride

Quick update - tried the rebuilt shocks, seem to be very stiff even on the softest preload and next to no damping - used 5w oil and the correct amount - maybe I was expecting too much or rebuilt them wrong - look nice but not very good, maybe some adjustable Hagon's, IKON's or TEC although being so cheap they cannot be that good, or can they, seen a few threads and suppose it all depends if you like to cruise or scratch ;-)
