New rotors be expensive. Options?

Was just quoted $225 each for EBC brand from my local aftermarket place. I can maybe get 10% off but I'm looking at getting three so daaaaaaaang that is a lot of bread

I grooved the rear pretty good not paying attention and the front were pretty wicked when I got them.

No I have no measured them yet so I gotta do that and then see if I can find someone in San Jose who knows how to turn them.

Any other leads? There are some from China on ebay for about $140. Ug.

I had that problem with my front rotors. If your careful you can get some very serviceable replacements on eBay. I got two near new, no scoring or ridges for 40 bucks shipped.

EBC is great equipment and look great if you have plenty of disposable income.

You can't turn GS rotors, you'd need to have them ground.

The 1100E bike could be upgraded the same way Tom' Hot Rod was with the CBR rotors & twin pots... Another alternative.

I've used a company listed on eBay that provides surface grinding & drilling.
Had Suzuki GT750 rotors surfaced & drilled -- turned out quite nice.

$55 per rotor for surfacing + $18 for return shipping of 3 rotors.

But like others have indicated, used rotors via eBay likely will be cheaper.
