Fitting new Hagons
My new shocks are due today. Looking at the washer stacks on the parts fiche the current setup is way off plus I don't have a frame lift handle yet and don't know how thick it is. I've convinced myself that the shocks are not straight and that's partly to blame for the state of the bushes. Some, not all of the twelve washers on the fiche have a thickness specified. Am I overthinking this? Should lining the shoulder of the mount pin with the metal bush in the shock be enough? Any tips appreciated.97 R1100R

Thanks. Job done - only problem is they make the rest of the bike look shabby. I might be coming down with a dose of Restoritis. Oh and the clocks seem a lot lower than they used to be and that's with the springs at 1. Can't wait for the rain to stop. Report to follow.97 R1100R

The roads were dry.
Didn't realise how bad the old ones were - kinda creeps up on you. Can work on the sag now. I've got a hybrid front end. The forks are stock size but I've got ramp preloaders on top of stock length springs, no air.97 R1100R
