I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

OK, dumb question I'm sure, but the Workshop manual for a GS850G rear wheel assembly only shows a RH and LH Rear Wheel Bearing... WHAT is the 3rd one that came in the All-Balls Bearing kit for?

I'm guessing for the shaft drive??

Hard to tell what kit you have -- it sounds like you ended up with a kit for a chain drive bike, but all may not be lost -- look closely at the actual bearings for the bearing numbers. They're usually laser-etched into the steel, and they tend to be very small.

An 850G or GL requires two 6303 bearings in the rear wheel (there's no third bearing, since there's no sprocket carrier, since there's no sprocket, 'cos there's no chain...) There are no bearings in the shaft drive mechanism that will need replacement.

The front wheel takes two 6302 bearings.

So if you have two 6303 bearings in that kit, you have what you need. What's the other bearing? Maybe someone will want it.

If you don't at least have two bearings you need, you'll need to return the kit and get the correct one.

Ok. Thank you! The part numbers you provided helped. Turns out I have the 6303 bearings.... just 3 of them.

So it looks like I'm set there.

Now, if I hadn't just found out that the replacement rear rotor is the wrong style.

Off to find one of those now. :(
