Bridgstone BT45 Review - GS1150
I recently purchased a set of BT45's for my GS1150, in the OEM 110/90-16 front and 130/90-17 rear. I took the bike to a local trackday and turned the first wheel on the track. Bridgestone reccomend 100 mi. break in (so to speak). The first lap was timid, the second was brave, and every lap after I pushed them till the pegs were dragging. The tires are dual compound, and you can clearly see where the compounds meet but you cant feel it. I pushed the bike and tires really hard. They only became unstable in the afternoon under 90+ degree temps while on the throttle leaned over, the bike would crabwalk a tiny bit which is obviously suspension related also. The bike has OEM front forks and a Hagon rear shock.1982 GSX1000SZ
