Emulator question
hey all. I've put in a set of emulators on my 78' 1000 along with a set of Sonic 1.0 springs (stock 78 1000 forks). I set the emulators to 3 turns out as I like to ride hard on the corners and I have a set of VERY stiff Marzocchi rear shocks on the bike. Fork oil is 10W. After reading many posts on the emulators it looks like a lot (most everyone) is going with 2 turns. I won't have the bike on the road for another day or two but I'm wondering if I should just pull the forks off now and set them to 2 turns. Oh, and one other question. Racetech sent along a 6 washers in the package but do not suggest where they go, I 'figured' one on each end of the spring, since there is a stock cap on the top I put one on the bottom of the spring, which sits directly on top of the emulator. I'm wondering now if that was a bad idea as it might effect the oil flow??Last edited by azr; 08-28-2014, 03:46 PM.Rob
