GS750E 1984 - Front forks seem low down

The front forks seem to compressed. Is there a way to add air to lift the front up? Or should I install
a spacer inside the fork tube to compress the springs a bit more?

I noticed there are holes in the fork tubes that line up with the brackets.
I noticed this when I installed a set of lower handle bars on the bike (bars from a 1995 interceptor).
I had to ensure the lower bracket covered the fork tube holes to keep the air pressure up.

Also there is a tube that runs from one fork tube to the other. I don't see a way to add air.

    Any help will be appreciated.

On the 650, there is an air nipple on one of the forks/triple tree, behind a cover, that will look a little a flat-domed nut. It's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. I thought I had a photograph on Photobucket, but no luck.

      Hi,

Thanks for the tip. Found it...the cap looks exactly like one of the bolts that hold the forks in place...

      Thanks alot for the tip...Dave
