    Offset rear wheel valve stem?

I need to order a new tire and tube for the rear spoked wheel on my bike. For the life of me, I can't remember if the valve stem is offset to one side or if it's centered. I'm about 1000 miles away from the bike at the moment, so I can't check it myself.

Does anyone know off hand if I need to order a tube with an offset valve stem or not?

Edit: I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm running an 18" wheel on the rear.

All of the ones that I have seen were centered.
