Gs700es part number needed for forks
my forks are leaking oil from this rubber seal under the air valve. anyone know what the part number is and where i can get replacements for this?

If you look at the fiche for the forks (I randomly chose 1985 -- make sure you look up parts by the actual year of your bike), you'll see there's an o-ring (#17 on the fiche) that's part of the fork cap.
If you look at the diagram for the steering stem, you'll also find the o-rings inside the air fittings (#19 and #26 on the diagram).
There's also a "cushion", which is #17 on the diagram and appears to be the part you've circled, but it's not a seal -- the seal is formed by the o-rings.Last edited by bwringer; 06-14-2015, 11:42 PM.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
