    GS650GL front brake/wheel upgrade questions

New owner of a '82 GS650GL bought disassembled as a donor for two trike projects (a 1F2R and a 2F1R).

Down the road, I might be able to afford some changes/upgrades; for now, I'm just curious:
    a) Are there any wider rimmed wheels (Suzuki or not) that fit the front?
    b) Are there any wire spoke wheels (Suzuki or not) that fit the front?
    c) About how much would it cost in parts to convert my single disc front brake to a dual?

    Thanks.

BTW, I did a Search, but found nothing on this topic.

As to "c"..... The 650 G and E had dual discs, so buy whole front end setup
As to "b"..... Lots of suzukis had dual discs and wire wheels. Look for blown engine parts bike

Put a 650G fork legs in & you're away... You have the widest wheel available in cast (2.15").

This is how the 2.15 wheel looks: http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...etc&highlight=

With 650G legs you could then fit Twinpot Brakes.... http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...unk&highlight=

Spoke wheels will fit - you may need to change bearings / spacers.
