Widened '83 wheel
I'm putting a widened rear wheel (5 3/4") on an 83 1100e. The wheel seems to be offset about 5/8" to the right. I've got a 5/8" spacer for the cush drive and a 5/8" offset sprocket for the front. Everything lines up good with stock wheel, but not with widened wheel. I've done alot of measuring and the wheel seems to have had the same amount of widening added to each side of the wheel. The wheel was supposed to be an 83 wheel, but I noticed that the wheel had an original width of 3.5", I thought 83 E wheels were 2.5". The brake rotor seems to be spaced outward further than my stock wheel. This wheel was made by a guy in Wisconsin, named Dale Scnieder. I guess my question is, is the wheel supposed to be offset to the right for some reason? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

5 3/4" measured from inside bead to inside bead without tire on rim. Rear swingarm has been stretched 3 1/2 inches. Do you know of anyone that will widened a stock wheel, for a reasonable price? Thanks for info, guys.
