is this an oem '79 gs1000e front fork part?
what in the cryptic hell is going on here? I have a '79 gs1000e and the parts list doesn't show this part. A google search on the part number shows several sellers saying it is used on the 79gs1000. I'm planning on putting in new fork seals and sonic 1.0 (and hopefully mikes XS cartridge emulators). But if this thing is a load bearing surface then I'll be looking closely.. did we figure out here that the OP has a later model front end?1979 gs1000e (everyday) 1977 gs750 for sale
