Has anybody purchased any Racetech Shocks for their GS1000?
I just had a set of spare 1000G forks rebuilt at Racetech. I was considering buying a set of their custom shocks to go with them. Has anybody done this? It will be expensive, but I've been wondering how much good the upgrades will do for my old bangers.sigpic Too old, too many bikes, too many cars, too many things

While researching shocks recently I looked at Racetech and they struck me as better than most...and they should be considering the price. One nice feature is that they have a piston that keeps the oil and gas separate. From what I understand this is a better design approach compared to emulsion shocks where the gas and oil is mixed. Beyond the theory I' don't have any personal experience with the shocks.
BTW, some other nice shocks to consider are Gazi and YSS. And Ohlin's too if you can find a good deal.Ed
