New tires
I have an '85 450L. Front tire is 90/90/19 and rear is 120/90/16. I'm not sure what alternate sizes will work outside of the listed stock size. Finding 120/90/16 is a tough size when it comes to matching the front.Tags: None

Her 750L had the 90/90-19 and when I bought her new tires I went with 100/90-19. In the rear, we ran 130/90-16.

Tamara,
Before you go looking for different sized tires, we need to know the rim widths on your bike. ShadowFocus' 750 has wider rims than your 450.
Look for this information on your rims:
Let us know what your wheels say and we can recommend the max tire size.
My daughter's 450E uses a 90/90 up front and a 120/90 in back. I don't know if your wheels are the same width as hers or not (I know they're different diameters).GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E

Rear stock is 120/90-16. That rim won't work too well with a 130, You'd really need a 2.50 rim for that. You might have clearance issues in back as well.
So.......
If getting a matching set is important to you, Avon Roadriders come in sizes very close to stock. They make a front that is 90/90-19. They make a rear tire that comes in 120/80-16. The profile is a bit lower for the rear, but it should work fine.
Those are great tires too.GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E

I was looking at the Avons but I wasn't sure about the rear tire sizing. My current set is mismatched even though the tread is fairly close but the handling isn't as nice as when my front & rear were matched.
