    Remove/replace rear wheel GS1100G"L"

Tips and suggestions welcomed. I've done this in the past, but I'm always willing to learn some thing new.

    Thanks,

    Bob Young

    1. Bike on centerstand.
    2. Put 2x4 under centerstand.
    3. Run ratchet strap forward from centerstand, through front wheel, back to centerstand.
    4. Loosen axle nut.
    5. Remove brake stay from caliper, use bungee cord to hold it UP.
    6. Remove upper shock mounts, wheel will drop.
    7. Remove axle, note position of spacers.
    8. Slide wheel to right, off splines.
    9. Roll wheel out back, might have to tilt slightly to clear fender.
    10. Check splines on wheel hub.

Installation is the reverse, of course, starting with item #9.
