1980 gs1000gl front caliper rebuild kit.

Use compressed air in the fluid port and pop out the piston.
Clean out grunge.
Part# 59301-45822 - this part number includes the two parts listed below AND the piston
Part# 69107-05CF0 Desc SEAL,PISTON
Part# 59308-45200 Desc BOOT PISTON
Part# 59312-45200 Desc BOOT AXLE - if the sliding pin boots are torn you can get new ones.
Use heavy black moly caliper grease on the sliding pins.
Be sure to replace the brake lines. They are sure to be full of sludge.Ed

If the piston is stuck use pliers, grips or similar and push slightly inward to break if free first. Exercise caution with the compressed air when pushing it out though, make sure the piston can't get away from you. I almost brained a neighbour once I thought was way out of range.It's smoke that make electronic components work.
Every time I've let the smoke out by mistake, they never work again.
