GS1100EZ vs GS1150 Fork Lengths?
I swapped out the forks and trees from a GS1150 (1984) and put them on my GS1100EZ (1982), but I never actually measured the lengths of the forks. Does anyone happen to know how much difference there is in the lengths... if any? I'm just curious.
Thanks!1982 GS1100E "Jolene"Tags: None

I can tell you that the 83 - 750 (also 16" wheel) has forks that are approx 2.5-3" longer. All from memory (and from a long time ago when I built my 750 so I could be making all this up!) but about 35" instead of 32" rings a bell... something like that anyway!
They are also wider. The 1150 especially so. It's 16" wheel has a hub that is wider & from memory the brake rotors mount .75" further outboard (each side) compared to hub centre.1980 GS1000G - Sold
