Drilled front rotros from a 83GS1100 to a 79 GS1000 HELP!!!

Anyone swap front drilled rotors from a 83 1100 to a 79 1000? The rear was a direct swap, the front pads inter-fear with the rotors. Looks like the 83's had different calipers? and pads?

Why not go for the salty monk mod. I have it on my 79 1000 they work great.

My bikes 79 GS1000 1085 checked and approved by stator the GSR mascot :eagerness: and 77 GS750 with 850 top end, GS850g, and my eldest sons 78 GS550, youngest sons GS125. Project bike 79 GS1000N

I ran 82 1100 forks and brakes on GS1000 wire wheels.
