Front master cylinder cap screw size

The cap screws on my 1982 GSX750 Katana front master cylinder are damaged and must be replaced. I can usually deduce the size from the part number, but in this case I can’t. The part number is 59691-49300. Any ideas?

    Cheers!

I bought a bunch of them off eBay a while ago:

They are pretty generic for most MC caps - M4 x 10mm, however you could buy a longer version and trim them down to suit.
    Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

    Past:
    VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....

Thanks. I shouldn't have been so lazy. :-)

I matched it up to some extra screws I had laying around. It's actually a M5 x 10 countersink head.

      Cheers!

Most master cylinder cap screws are M4 X 10 flat head.

If it's M5, are you sure it's stock?

It certainly looks stock - it's identical to the the parts fiche. The rear master cylinder cap screws are definitely smaller, and their part number differs from the front cap screws.

My KZ1300 has M5 screws in the MC caps, but pretty much all the other ones I've seen are M4.
