79' GS1000E, SS brake lines and pads?
I'm rebuilding the brake system on a friend's 79 E model and was wondering what is a good value in a set of 'black' SS brake lines for his bike? I would like the original 3 piece style for the front and would really prefer the kit that is pre assembled. Also, what are people using for pads on these? This guy is a bit of a hot-rodder and would probably sacrifice pad life for greater braking performance.
Thanks, Pat78' GS1000EC

I bought lines from an Ebay seller named Rennsport Auto. Great lines at a great price. He sells Apex branded lines. I no longer see his store on Ebay but found this site: http://rennsportautoparts.com.
Regardless, I checked the Apex website and you can get custom lines from them for even cheaper than Rennsport.Jordan

Yup, Rennsport #1! Raymond is a stand up seller also, will get back pretty quickly if you have questions or issues.1978 Gs1085 compliments of Popy Yosh, Bandit 1200 wheels and front end, VM33 Smoothbores, Yosh exhaust, braced frame, ported polished head

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.
