    Drilled or slotted rotor(s) for a 550?

1980 GS550 with front and rear discs.

Are there any other models that have the correct bolt pattern and rotor diameter with drilled or slotted rotors?

Your bike didn't had solids from the factory. These guys can do whatever you need.

It's got solid rotors now, front and rear. That's not stock?

Sometimes it's easier and cheaper to find a disc from a similar model that shares the dimensions/bolt pattern. That's why I was asking.

Yes solid ( Undrilled and unslotted ) is a stock rotor. You wont find slotted or drilled one most likely. Youre gonna need to send yours in or stay with the stock solid rotors

Suzuki fitted slotted discs to the '81 and '82 8v 550s, but unfortunately you guys in the States didn't get that model - you already had the 16v model. It would be worth asking the owner of a 16v 550 to measure the discs for you - they look right, but to measure is to know........

Alternatively, look at the later 650s, and possibly larger bikes. Suzuki liked to use the same part on lots of models.

I was looking at some '81 rotors on eBay and they sure look the same, except slotted. I'll ask for some measurements. They appear to be the same.

They fit. As do the slotted discs from the later 850s and the first generation 16v 750s and 1100s.

Actually, we still had the 8v 550 for '81 and '82. Didn't get the 16v model until '83.
