GS1000S Front Brake Hose Length

I've put drag bars on my GS1000G. Now I'm getting ready to have new brake lines made up for it.

Anyone happen to know the length difference of the front brake line from a G model to an S model? I want a shorter line made up so that I don't have the extra hose looped around the headlight bucket.

From master Cylinder to junction under the head lamp? Or why not just two lines running from master cylinder to calipers. Some prefer it that way (me) but can always ask for a vote here what others prefer and why. My E top line is around 55cm and a little less would be nice. All depends on how high your bars rise up and there width. My S is too tucked away behind fairing and stuff to measure. sorry

I prefer one down to the right caliper (about 28" from memory) and then a loop over the mudguard to the left caliper (about 18" from memory).

It's pretty easy to measure.

Thank you both. I never would have thought about either of those options. I'm curious what the junctions look like in both of those scenarios. If you don't mind posting a picture of those I would really appreciate it.

Be same as standard, just longer hose to suit.
