    Brake disc and wheel swaps

    I have a '77 gs750B with wire wheels and single disc front and seems my rear disc us a little warped. Has
    Vent had it on the road yet but the rear wheel would drag as I got to that bend so the caliper could be sticky too.. Bro, a friend told me he has invent rotors with a lever and dial indicator but assuming that won't work, what are my options for used rear disc swaps? I see diff part numbers for discs on wire vs mag wheels. But now these wire wheels are pretty rusty too and tires beat so is there mag wheels that will bolt up or then should I be looking for a duak disc front end also?

    The 78 and 79 750s have mag wheels that are a direct bolt on

    Those rear discs are the same as yours

    You will need dual disc lower forks and matching discs to swap or the Salty Monk upgrade

      That's not that much advantage in a stock dual disc front end over a single in my opinion. Maybe on a long downhill but in ultimate power they don't seem a lot different. You could fit twinpot calipers & use CBR rotors at stated above. That makes a huge difference.

        The stock dual disc I think is a good bit better than single, but upgraded single disc front is PLENTY good with the twinpot mod and a 310mm 98-99 CBR900RR rotor and a stainless line and GS500/EX500/EX250/Bandit 400 master cylinder.

        I may have some mag wheels if you're looking to switch. I'd trade you for the wire spoke hubs, especially the rear, if you shipped those to me without spokes or rims. I'll hafta check my stock on mag wheels from parts bikes...

          Oh and the rear if it is not pulsating probably just has sticking piston in the caliper.
          It's 295mm on a 77, far too big, all 78+ rears use a 275mm rotor and corresponding caliper hanger bracket.

          Edit- I read thru and realized that you just had a typo and it may actually be pulsating on the rear.
