'77 gs750 single disc front caliper swap

I have this 77 with spoke wheel and single disc up front I take apart the caliper and the dust seals disintegrating... Those seals are $10 each plus shipping from partzilla and more on eBay. Is there a better caliper to bolt up to those lower legs & stock wheel/disc???

Why yes there is! Here's a link for an adapter to run a 2 piston caliper from newer bikes: https://www.thegsresources.com/_foru...de-on-78-Skunk

If you want to run duels, you need a right fork that has the mounts. I'm not certain if the left single is the same as a left duel as far as the caliper mount placement goes, but luckily if you remover the black cover from the right side of the wheel, you should find disc mounting holes already there.

From what I've read, the dual disc bikes use smaller rotors so the left mount is different as well.
