New to the site and veray impressed with the wealth of knowledge on here!
I have a couple of 1977 GS750 that I am working on and I am in the process of fitting a twin disk front brake set up on one of them with the help of Dan’s adaptor kit, cbr 296mm disks / gpx calipers, goodridge, bandit MS et al.
Having realised just how much weight this takes off the bike and how much better the brakes are it started me thinking about the rear brake. Given that the rear calliper weighs in at about a ton and with the slightest of encouragement it locks up the rear wheel, I wondered if there were any rear brake conversions / swaps similar to the excellent front brake upgrade by Dan?
I did have a search through the threads herein but no luck. I don’t want to ask a question that has been covered already, so if there is an existing thread on this, can someone point me in the right direction please.
