speigler, galfer, goodridge all make quality stuff. for a previous project, had speigler make a custom line for me (quick, inexpensive). my ducati 900ss/sp had goodridge lines when i bought it. the rear brake on my 79 gs750 is about half tubing so increase in "feel" won't me much when i replace that one. but it looks original, so it's gotta go and will be done over the winter.
i did like the "race set-up" on the ducati that had one line to each caliper from the master, had no "tee" connection. gonna go that route on my project. my local bmw shop (provins in pittsford) make custom lines, thought i'd give him a shout about having him make my new braided lines. i'll just bring him the existing lines so he can "clock" them, and as i've lowered the bike 50mm in the front they'll be a little shorter that stock. of course no change on the rear, short lines.Last edited by Guest; 11-10-2018, 08:54 PM.

Thanks for the tip. They do not list the rear brake line, but they do have adtermarket lines of different lengths.
