    82 750 Fork Tubes

Upon recent inspection of my front end I discovered I have a bent fork tube. Removed front tire and loosened the clamps up a bit so I could rotate the fork in the tree, and sure enough she wobbles pretty bad. Now I see why my front tires aren't lasting very long. Other than the bent tube the forks are in good shape. The lowers look good, the seals don't leak a drop, and they hold air pressure very well. I hate to by another complete set of forks on ebay when I really only need one upper tube. Wondering if anyone has any tubes laying around if they'd be willing to part with one. Its time for a new front tire again and I'd like to get this sorted before I put it on. Thanks.

    Which 1982 GS750 model?

They seem to be different part numbers:
    51110-45940 inner tube T (1982-83)
    51110-45900 inner tube E (1982 only)

(If I squint carefully, it sort of looks like a T in your avatar, but best to check...)

Might want to post in parts wanted.

It's possible fork assemblies or fork tubes from another model could fit or be made to fit, but that would require some careful measuring and pondering.
    1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
    2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...

          Another "T"!

Sorry...can't help you with a spare fork tube. But you can post your "T" on this thread...if you like!
