    gs650 front brake build

    any link to a gs650gl front brake build? or putting the pad back on, front brake mustve got knocked over or something but pad and 2 metal pieces fell out, they kinda look like a space invader.

        unfortunately no luck in finding how to put it back on, didnt go into detail about the pads at all but did talk about piston and such. i do know that it is to limit its movement now.

            Sounds like the shims. Have you looked at a micro-fiche?

                im confused as to where it goes even with that picture, never used blueprints to figure things out im not really handy in that aspect, im just hoping i mess with it or try some hard researching to find a good tutorial.

                  The shims goes between the pad and the piston - one on each pad

                      okay this brings another thing, i guess my front brake is a older brake aswell, have a single pad not two.

                        Detailed pictures of the parts you’re trying to fit together are the only way people are going to be able to help you. Is the brake caliper on your bike different from the one on the parts fiche? Didn’t we just go through the same thing with your rear caliper?

                            Yes pictures please because that bike shouldn't see pavement until you replace at least both pads if not the entire caliper
