    GS 550 brae caliper alternatives

weighed with pads and residual fluid its 1054grams.
Quite heavy indeed when I compare the apparent feel of the weight of the 4 piston brembos on the front of the KBike

Is there any quick and dirty guide to find and alternate modern meaty beaty big and bouncy replacement?
I am about to check the pistons and seals and if parts are needed they are pricy so an ebay donor of a mor emodern lighter bit may be deesirable.

Mind you my resale value of this fabulous rare ( they made fewer than 3 million ) will suffer. But I can saw off the back end call it a resto mod and rake in the cash.

You can use the Twinpot mod if you use a Blackbird rotor... will be lighter as well as much more powerful...
