    What tools do I need to rebuild my forks

    Chances are you already have them, it aint much. The only thing you might need is a piece of pipe about the same I.D. size as the fork tubes to make a driver to seat the new seal although I've managed to figure out way to do it without one on every bike I've worked on. It aint rocket science (although I'm quite sure you'll make it turn into that) follow the instructions and look at the pictures, it's pretty straight forward.

      In that case, you read the book (the service manual).

        All the info you will need will be in the service manual, including what tools are needed and a step by step guide on how to rebuild them.
        1978 GS1085.

        Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
