DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Coils...

I finally got the time to install the Dyna coils last weekend. It required longer bolts and I had to shorten the stock spacers by about 3/16ths of an inch (or 5mm) for you Euro guys. The coils came with straight and 90? boots and the proper connectors. The stock Suzuki primary wires plugged...

    Coils...

Talked to the wife today. She told me a couple of packages showed up at the house. Being the smart woman she is, she said one felt like "wire". I'll head in-land nest week and put it all together. I ordered solid copper wire so I could still use the new NGK resistor caps that took me forever to...

    Tire Vendors ?

(there's a sort of hidden underground tire network of drop shippers in play here) There certainly is. Thanks for taking the time to write that bwringer I've talked to various automotive tire suppliers over the years. Some months we'll cross the $50K line in purchases for Conti's and...

    Tire Vendors ?

I'm going to be looking as well for my 83 GS1100E 100/90-19 front 120/90-17 rear. Nearly new Dunlop D404's front and rear now and not really thrilled with them. (Came with the bike) I have Conti Classic Attack's on my H-2 and KZ1000A I really like them but it seems they're out of production...

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

The "bolts" were 6mm cap screws and all snapped at the junction of the shoulder and the threads as you can see in the photo. The end of the caliper shows the depth of the hole in the head, which, coincidentally, is the same as the threaded portion of the bolt. I installed the pipe with grade 8...

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

That was somewhat of a PIA. Managed to coax 4 bolts out and snapped 4 off flush with the head. Used every mechanics trick in my book. Heat, penetrants, impacts and combinations of the three. Even heated the head then hit the bolts with liquid 134A Whoever installed the V+H pipe bottomed the...

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

Afternoon Folks, I talked and emailed with Vance + Hines, Patriot (nice guy) Super-Trapp / Kerker and Bassani. Chris at Patriot said he's not making exhaust for the GS1100E any longer. He has 1 Katana pipe in stock that would work if I fabricated some brackets. The other manufactures are not...

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

That's the question I was going to ask as well. I'd like to retain my center stand as well as oil filter and drain plug access. Ideally, that's the pipe I was looking for. Perhaps a call to Patriot Racing would be in order.

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

I did look through Delkevic's site and I did see the stock photo of the Cafe pipe on a GSX1100. I'm assuming it's an 80 or 81 bike sold in Europe. I found this vid of the Megaphone style on youtube, don't know if he's a member here or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwZXF-OQCaU I was...

    1983 GS1100E Delkevic 4-1

I'm trying to find a photo of an 82/83 GS1100E with the Delkevic 4-1 "Cafe" pipe. I've seen a few photos and vids of the bike with the traditional megaphone design. Anyone here have one? 45Bpcr

    Hello from NH

Stepped right off the edge of the rabbit hole. Before I even rode it I dumped the oil and filter and oiled the chain. Took it out for a 20 or so mile putt. Since the chain was warm I oiled it again, rust came pouring out. Replaced the chain. When I ordered the chain I also ordered float bowl...
