    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    I don't know if you have any places near you that you could test "at or near" speed, but you might find some type of barometric pressure device and place it near the carbs to see whats going on. My phone actually has a barometer built into it and it records pressure changes for 12 hours...

    Ive read stories about large fairings causing air pressure dips and spikes and causing fuel metering issues. That may be part of the difference.... or it could be like he said and its just running out of fuel. Either way that is really cool! Congrats!

    It sounds like it may be an electrical problem. When youre using the starter it drops the voltage and may be enough to keep it from sparking properly. I mean if you can push start it, that should indicate that it has enough voltage to trigger the coils when the starter isn't in use. Maybe...

    I know if the idle mixture is a little rich they'll idle slower after they get hotter, so I'd guess if it was a little lean it might idle higher as it got hotter.

    I had a great time. I turned the idle mixture screws in 1/2 turn which was a little too much for 8500ft and not quite enough for 11000ft. Otherwise I left the jetting alone and it was a little rich but still very rideable. I had a couple great rides and am so glad I brought my bike out.
