DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    "Intruder-Cade"

Not exactly a project but I have fitted the luggage off a 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade on my 2000 Suzuki LC 1500 Intruder. It's a common mod for Intruders if you can scrounge up the bags. Looking more and more like a barco-lounger but tons of storage. Even got the original soft-bag inserts.

Bizarre, funky issue when rolling up to a stoplight

I guess this thread is dead but if you are readjusting your idle upward before the bike is warmed up enough to truly come off choke, when it does get warmed up the idle will then be too high. Only adjust your idle after the bike is well warmed-up. Up 'til that time just wean off choke a...

Bizarre, funky issue when rolling up to a stoplight

To try something cheap and easy, leave the choke partially on for a while longer (experiment). Might not help but won't hurt anything. Does this symptom go away if you ride the bike for a significant amount of time and get it well warmed-up? I have bikes that will die on decel if I start...

    Im stuck !

http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?166148-Intake-O-rings&highlight=intake+upside+down+orient I'd ride it and enjoy it but if you ever get around to messing with the carbs, the above link talks about the orientation.

    Needle in a haystack

I would think that would be okay. Also, if you post in the Parts Wanted, I'm sure someone has a needle

    Im stuck !

Not sure what this means. If, by chance, it has anything to with carb boots and the intake pipes (that mount to the head), the intake pipes can be mounted upside down, causing things to not line up.

    Hard bags clearance from muffler

Thanks, that thread helped. I had to do some fabbing to get my Krauser bags mounted and I really like them. Having to lose or change them would be a deal-breaker but I'm thinking I will maybe have about an inch clearance, the more I look at it. I could also extend the muffler outlet like...

    Hard bags clearance from muffler

I'm considering a Delkevic for my 1100G. I figure the highest part of the muffler will be almost touching my Krauser hard bags. The muffler will angle downward pretty quickly so that there will be pretty good clearance except for the highest couple of inches at the end of the muffler (rear.)...

    Balky Blinker

Do flashers fail gradually? On my 1100GL, the turn signals don't work until I have ridden about 10 miles (maybe longer on a cold day.) The bike is charging well. I'm wondering if the weak link is the flasher, the bulb/socket, the left-hand multi-switch or wiring somewhere.

    16 valve adjustment 82 suzuki gs750t

Z-1 enterprises probably has the gasket. OEM gaskets are important for some areas but for the valve cover gasket, aftermarket is fine. I think there is some size deck screw that has a head that fits the square adjuster perfectly. I'll see if I can search it up. Or you can buy the suzuki tool.
