    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    gs 1000 overbore kits

Well, I'm not sure what it would cost for the head work that I was thinking of, but I saw this on APE website: HW-40 Port and valve job 8-valve = $850.00 Plus, I still need O/S valves in addition to the rebuild parts I would need on just fixing up a stock head. Cripes sake, $850?? If it was...

    shocks

I am 270 lbs, cheap & the MDI shocks are fine for normal riding. Even at my weight, they are rather firm, but not bothersome. Very little sag & I have the pre-load at the lowest setting. Well worth the $65 I paid for them

    Nolan N102 modular helmet

Pacman, that sounds exactly like a review I would have written.. I wear both an HJC SyMax and an Nolan N102. Nolan is hands down better, and much less buffetting at speed. Normally, I wear the HJC a bit more often in the winter because it's has a bit more room and I can fit a thin hat on a...

    Applying Engine Case Emblems

No need to add any adhesive. Make sure the cover is clean & wipe with alcohol or something to take away any oils. It doesn't work as good in the cold though. If it's below say, 60F I heat the part up a little with a heat gun or hair dryer.. NOT hot, just around 95 or 100F seems to be fine

What's my next move - #3 plug STILL BLACK !!

Had a similar problem. If your using after market K&L jets, swap them out for actual Mikuni jets. On another note, double check the timing on both the 1-4 & 2-3 pickups for the Dyna ignition. I found they were not set correctly out of the box and had to make adjustments to both rather than...
