A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Each plaque contains three separate pieces - the fretwork for the internal ring of the service's emblem, the middle ring with the United States (Fill in the service's name here), and the outside rope ring. Once the interior and middle pieces are cut, you cut all three apart then go back to cut...

A few weeks ago, the guy whose garage I share and work out of asked me to help build a gun case for the honor guard to the local VA hospital/cemetery. After we decided to include the service plaques as part of the build, I spent the last 10 days cutting these on my scroll saw. If anyone is...

What year did Suzuki eliminate the headlight switch ?

Both of our 81 550s have the switch to turn on/off the headlights but the fiche shows the piece that disables that function as an available part; only difference is a tab that prevents it from moving (I ordered it by mistake before). 81 550 Parts Fiche by Scott Baker, on Flickr

Wow Glen; fantastic. Except for the snow last night, we haven't seen much of a wintery weather this year; still downright cold though. While cutting a backer to a clock my friend is making for his wife, I noticed this feature with some of the most evil looking intent (not really but it was...

    Does Someone Have Pictures

I am drawing up plans for a thank you gift (more information to come in the next few days) and would like to use a 12-pole stator as the basis for it. As I only have pictures of my 18-pole, does anyone have a good picture they can send to my email - cowboyup3371@yahoo.com?

    Cosmetic engine gaskets

Your local dealer will not have them in their local stock, no one does, but will be able to order them from the warehouse. Most of us will use Parts Outlaw in Florida as they are on the cheaper side but it will take two weeks to get them; the first week to get them from the warehouse and the...
