    3Mar2013-First Real Breakdown

I made it a priority to get to know my bike and started with minor removal of parts to dissect/clean. I recently purchased a 1980/750L speedo/bracket cluster which I found out will not accommodate my "T". The High Beam & Oil Light are on my Tach but with the 1980 model, all the lights are on the center cluster.

Nevermind...I've been cleaning the chrome with water/aluminum foil and it worked pretty good. I've also put some Liquid Wrench on the chain guard because the underside of it is caked with gunk!

I removed the rear fender and all the wires (labeled them too). I'm so happy to spend time with my bike and getting to know the quirks of my "T".

Since joining GSR I've acquired some parts too. Took the liberty of displaying them on my garage floor. If you see anything you might need for your "T", lemme know and I may be able to hook you up.

    Thanks for viewing my album!
