A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

180 degrees is one thing. Just be glad the bike (or you) didn't end up hanging from a lampost.

    First Road Crash

Ouch! Glad you're okay. That's quite a 'lip.' And the bugs. Took me a few seconds to realize what they were. Reminds me of when some rural friends in south Jersey told me there are "too many bugs to ride without a fairing." Glad you're okay.

Even Evel Knievel couldn't do that on the first try.

Escape velocity! I bet if he tried that three more times it wouldn't end up on the pole that way. 🤔

The bike appears undamaged. I doubt it will remain so. I think the trip down will be a lot more painful than the ride up there. 🥶

    Great car site

What really peeves me are builders like Chip Foose. He takes a '68 Vette or Camaro and redesigns it. Like he knows better than General Motors. I miss the days when what was good for GM was good for America. And don't get me started on 'chopping' roofs. Or lowering stances. Extensive...

    Can’t find 4-1 headers

Look for used. As I said, they made the "Street Megaphone," "SS" (canister) and a drag model that might have been called "Sidewinder" that fit the '82 11E. The 'Street Megaphone' is louder (and shorter) than the canister. The drag model limits lean on the right side. Good luck.

    Can’t find 4-1 headers

Vance & Hines (V&H) seems to me to be what Kerker was in the 70s (and 80s): the standard, the default, the go-to for high quality pipes. Have you tried them? I own two different models for my '82 11E, and I'm aware of a third they make. Your 650 is not as common an engine, but I would expect...

    Touching moment in Buffalo

At SUNY Brockport, it was a point of pride to know the lyrics. And all one had to do to learn was stay up late (2-3am) till TV shut down for a few hours. 🇨🇦
