DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    mapp gas ?

Do a search about packing grease in the thread bore. This is a pretty good trick i hear. Basically it uses hydralic pressure to help pop off the rotor.

    Should i be horrified?

you bike will run like crap without the airbox and filter installed. Try installing those and see if it runs a little smoother. Like said you don't need to run the petcock on prime the whole time just the first 5 minutes or so. It wouldn't hurt to change the oil just incase you dumped a bunch of...

    Mac 4 into 1

My 550 also has a Mac 4 into 1 on it, chrome. People say they don't like the finish and the chrome is junk, but mine has held up real nice for 15,000 mile and they have been hard wide open miles in the mid west and east coast. I am also running the 1.5" competion baffel (you have to request this...

IKON Spring & Damper - Revisited

I have no idea what the travel is and don't plan on pulling the springs to find out. It has not been an issue yet. Why are you so concerned with travel unless you are planning off road adventures? I had some interference problems as first on my 1000 but that was because I was running a 1100...

    Yosh exhaust

If your yosh is to loud, sell it! They are designed as a race pipe so sound was not a consideration. You should be able to sell the system for good money and easialy use the money made from the yosh to buy a mac pipe with a quiter baffel, and still have money left from the sale of your yosh.

IKON Spring & Damper - Revisited

Joe Nardy and I both run Ikons and we both love them. We ordered them 13.5" long (that’s the longest they can do) and the extra length real helped wake up the steering and make the bike more nimble. I would highly recommend these shocks to anyone. I think they are a better product then the...

    Not so blown engine

I would bet the carbs need a good cleaning, are they the black ones or silver? Bring the bike on over here we can do a carb clean on her. Or I can show you how to take them apart and you can do the rest at your leisure. You should do a search for robert barr and his o-rings kits, if you order...

    "Big Banged" Billet Race Cams

LIke said in the ad 2 cylinders fire at the same time. these cams would give you a way different power pulse and the bike will be very viberaty i bet. Kawasaki used big bang cams in a race bike of theirs a few years back...

    stage 3 what pods?

the kit will tell you the k and n filter numbers, or you can just go to the K and n website and look it up. You just need to order 1, two filters that cover all 4 carbs will come in it. I made the mistake and ordered 2 filters and ended up with 4 filters that i only needed 2 of years ago.

Anyone know what these wheels are?

maybe some exotic italian stuff did, but magnesium is not so good for the street, it will get briddle over time as it is exposed to UV, it's important to make sure there is no part of the rim un painted. My personal feeling is if you are going to be running these on the street (lots of holes and...

Anyone know what these wheels are?

My guess would be a EPM rim or a yamaha rim, the lester rims have a H-beam style spoke. They used the H shape as a selling point saying it was a strong shape.
